Jeff's story
While attending Arizona State University Jeff Garcia spent the summer of his Senior year working on a reality dating series for Fox, and was immediately hooked, deciding to dedicate the rest of his life to perfecting his television craft. After college was completed, he started his professional career working in post production on both non-scripted series and documentaries, first as an assistant editor, and later becoming an editor. Working on shows like Dancing With the Stars, Grease You’re the One that I Want, College Hill, and Wordplay to name a few.
Taking the skills he absorbed as an editor, Jeff’s ambitions and desire to learn drove him to the next stage of his career, as a producer. He quickly found success producing and developing his own shows, partnering up with companies such as Zodiak Rights (Banijay Group) and Studio Lambert (All3 Media), and selling shows both to Nat Geo and Investigation Discovery. The love of developing new ideas into television content and forcing himself to face new challenges, eventually led him taking a job as a development executive at the Duck Dynasty producer, Gurney Productions.
Until recently, Jeff spent the last few years of his career serving as Vice President at the Great British Bakeoff producer, Love Productions USA, where he was tasked with overseeing development and current programming. There he sold and produced content across the globe for streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon, and also at domestic channels like ABC, Discovery, History, and Nat Geo Wild. Now, at Best Production Company Jeff continues his desire to challenge himself and find ways to further elevate non-scripted television. Executive Vice President BEST PRODUCTION COMPANY.
